Private House Havertown
Private House - Havertown
This project was a full renovation of a dutch colonial which had been negelected for many years. The house was
newly painted inside, with new doors, windows and capping and newly painted exterior trim. All windows
were fitted for roller shades (or wooden venetian blinds in the bathrooms), any carpet removed and the wood
floors refinished. All the lighting and fixtures were replaced or added, with majority LED lamping, and rugs
were selected for each room. Furniture was part owner provided, part selected by designer.
Renovated first floor bathroom
Crown molding added on first floor
Rear screened-in porch renovated with a custom design/build asian railing and movable privacy shoji screens, and deck extended to double square footage.
Garage painted and partially reshingled
We redesigned and built the rear screened-in porch in an asian style, adding another 12 foot deck to connect with the original structure, which was made structurally sound, and all old infill replaced with handmade custom railings and shioji screens. The functional screens provide air and light, but privacy and partial weather sheild.
